Hi

We recently upgraded group of our modem from 33.6K analog on portslave
to Lucent Max 6000. Some users can't login at all, first I thought this
must be the problem with their modem, but the funny things are if the
user login using incorrect username/password. we get following messages
from "radius.log"

Tue Sep 4 19:09:48 2001: Auth: Login incorrect: [gmulfari/hello] (from
nas
max1/S20314)

With correct "username/password". we got

Wed Sep 5 12:18:23 2001: Error: Dropping duplicate authentication
packet from client 203.202.168.11 - ID: 198 Wed Sep 5 12:18:24 2001:
Error: Dropping duplicate authentication packet from client
203.202.168.11 - ID: 198 Wed Sep 5 12:18:25 2001: Error: Dropping
duplicate authentication packet from client 203.202.168.11 - ID: 198

I have changed the user's password, even re-created the account using
the same username. It will work if a different username is used.

Is these the problem with unix password file or Radius?
